Overview

 

NewWave has a proven track record in project management, full lifecycle development of enterprise applications, and constructing, testing, maintaining and managing IT software and infrastructure. We have a certified DCAA Accounting System and an Approved Earned Value Management (EVM) System.

Responsibilities

  • Experience on federal projects for VA, VHA, CBP, and others is a preferred.
  • Project types and duties include an approximately 50/50 mix between project and people management and design/analysis on primarily horizontal projects (roads, parking lots, site development, earth moving, embankments, drainage).

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • Preferred MS degree in Civil Engineering or similar
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Texas (or ability to obtain one within six months)
  • 8– 15 years of experience
  • AutoCAD experience, must be able to produce examples of past designs/drawings

  • Should be extremely facts and data oriented
  • Should be deadline oriented
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills
  • High Energy Levels. Should be self-driven
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture
