    NewWave  is looking for a resourceful International Business Development Consultant/Manager experienced in international markets to lead its IT sales efforts. This role will be responsible for driving the sales and capture strategy for the company in line within NewWave's international strategic and marketing  goals. Being able to maintain very good visibility into the sales process and qualifying/prioritizing sales opportunities will be key to success for this role.

    Responsibilities will include validating customers' funding, identifying contract vehicles, understanding buying trends within different customer segments and providing useful market information back to NewWave to determine market expansions/contractions and new product introductions.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field of study
    • Minimum of five years of experience growing a sales network
    • Ability to travel
    • Ability to report to corporate headquarters in Elkridge, MD as needed time to the time.
    • Strong verbal and hands-on presentation skills to compliment exceptional people skills.
    • Ability to create and cultivate strong business relationships.
    • Aptitude to be proficient while working in various environments with limited daily supervision.
    • Business Development mindset, with the ability to grow and maintain business relationships.
    • Must be proficient in: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power-Point.


    Interpersonal Skills 

    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing
    • Should be extremely facts and data oriented.
    • Should be deadline and closure oriented.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, persuasion, facilitation and influencing skills.
    • High Energy Levels. Should be self-driven.
    • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior level individuals.
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.
