    The Sr. Business Analyst/ Trainer will provide updates and help create the Business Process flow. This individual will also need to preparing training materials and conduct internal and external customer training. This role will include customer interaction, workflow development and updates, user story creation and maintenance, and other duties as assigned. This role will comprise of 50% training and 50% Business Analyst work.

    • Create/update business process flow diagrams, mock-ups, and wireframes
    • Lead requirements gathering sessions with customer
    • Develop user stories
    • Evolve into the subject matter expert in the data use agreements process to develop business requirements, and clarify requirements for the development team
    • Collaborate with the development team to identify, and prepare design layouts for business requirements
    • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and walkthroughs with customer and development team
    • Produce timely and high-quality requirements-related work products, including requirement specifications, process flows, mock-ups and wireframes.
    • Design and develop training materials (presentations, pamphlets).
    • Prepare communications for upcoming training sessions.
    • Lead formal and informal training sessions for application users.


    • Bachelor's degree
    • 8+ years’ experience as a business analyst
    • 8+ years of overall IT experience in software development
    • Experience with both traditional Waterfall SDLC and Agile methodologies
    • Extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements
    • Expertise in developing/mapping business process flow diagrams
    • 2 to 3 years training experience
    • Experience with developing training materials and conducting training sessions (PowerPoint slides and training videos)
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment
    • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills
    • Strong critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • MS: Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
    • Experience with the Atlassian Jira and Confluence
    • Ensure 508 compliance for all customer-facing deliverables
    • Snag-IT or other screen capturing tools



    • Previous Healthcare IT experience is desirable
    • Experience working on a team using Scrum or other Agile project framework
    • Ability to work in a team environment and have sound judgment
    • Attention to detail, quick learner, has a positive attitude, ability to multi-task, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Maintain the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all deliverables
    • Possess critical thinking skills, reading and interpretation, writing, and communication skills
    • Understanding and wide application of methodology and subject matter related concepts, practices, standards and procedures with a general knowledge of other related business disciplines
    • A demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed as well as a willingness to do collaborative software development as necessary
    • Able to work closely with all project stakeholders such as business users, project managers, and business analysts while delivering solutions
    • Works with limited supervision
