    This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities. We are looking for someone who is good at diagnosing clients’ needs and finding a way to satisfy them, has strong presentation skills and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. Qualified candidates will be detail oriented, conscientious (always follows through on commitments), analytical and curious.

     

    The Senior HR & Benefits Analyst will manage corporate benefits administration and monitor organizational information needs, making recommendations on process or system changes when appropriate.

     

    Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area within a department(s) which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

     

    Benefits

    • Manage the administration and compliance of the company health insurance, retirement, and other benefits programs.
    • Collaborate with Accounting Team to ensure timely and accurate payroll deductions entry into ADP payroll system.
    • Coordinate open enrollment process and participate in presenting benefits information and communications to staff.
    • Analyze benefits programs and provide recommendations for changes/improvements.
    • Review monthly billing from benefits vendors.
    • Support plan audits and other tax-reporting requirements.
    • Audit all benefit plans and reconcile issues with vendor(s) and/or payroll.
    • Assists in the development and improvement of benefit business processes and BenefitMall workflows.

     

    HRIS Analyst

    • Serve as an HR Analyst in the administration of our Human Capital Management/HRIS system and its integration with other corporate systems (ex. Payroll, timekeeping system, etc.).
    • Support the HR organization in its digital transformation efforts and identify opportunities for process transformation. This will include creating HR process documentation that reflects “as-is” current and “to-be” processes.
    • Update the HRIS and files for all employees/ex-employees with all status/compensation changes including: new hires, job transfers/reclassifications, promotions/demotions, full-time/part-time employment changes, and terminations/separations.
    • Maintain and oversee current HR systems including ADP systems and Employee Central.  Maintain freshness of information on outgoing portal/web sites; oversees all service upgrades, and actively participates in implementation of new technology.
      • Provide support for HRIS, including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Performing system maintenance by updating systems picklists, system codes, etc. in the On-boarding (ONB), Performance and Goals (P&G), Employee Central (EC), and other system modules
    • Serve as the first line of support for HR end-users if they are having trouble with SuccessFactors.
    • Assist in the design, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of system enhancements and other automation projects. Review HR processes to assess efficiency and recommend automation where appropriate, particularly in the area of benefits administration.  Recommend process/customer service opportunities and innovative solutions.
      • Participate in continuous HR improvement initiatives and metrics
      • Maintain a working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations, advise and make recommendations of any changes affecting policies, procedures, postings, and handbook

     

    Generalist Tasks

    • Assist with delivery and preparation of new hire orientations.
    • Organize and implement the onboarding process for new hires
    • Answer employee questions regarding recruiting, benefits, training, and employee relations.
    • Assist with the maintenance of the Human Resources E-mail account.
    • Assist the Department in the administration of HR programs, including wellness initiatives and compliance.

     Training

    • Serve as a partner to our Training Manager
    • Assist with Online Learning Management System (LMS) website
      • Resets passwords for employees
      • Verifies status of courses
    • Collect and maintain training metrics (automate process; create reports and formulae in Excel)

     

    Qualifications

    • 8+ yrs of relevant HR experience
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and have sound judgment.
    • Attention to detail, quick learner, have a positive attitude, ability to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Maintain the completeness, timeliness and accuracy of all deliverables.
    • Maintain a high-degree of confidentiality
    • Ability to promote an engaging, positive, culture enhancing environment
    • Possess critical thinking skills, reading and interpretation, writing, and communication skills.

     

    Preferred

    • Experience using Microsoft Project
    • SuccessFactors
    • Experience using ADP
    • Process improvement experience

     

    Technical Skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • SharePoint
    • Payroll systems proficiency

    • Demonstrated track record interacting with all levels within the organization, including executive leadership with exceptional customer service.
    • Demonstrated experience implementing HR programs and initiatives.
    • The ability to bring immediate credibility to the human resources function through his/her professional interactions and follow through on commitments to others.
    • Superior interpersonal communication and presentation skills as well as proven organizational skills.
    • Confident professional style supported through business knowledge and experience.
    • Proactive ability to identify, understand, and synthesize needs of employees and leadership of the organization with the ability to follow through on developing solutions to address those needs.
