    Responsibilities

    The UI/UX Designer will be responsible for collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.  Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.  Creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas. Interact professionally with executives, project managers, and teaming partners, gaining an understanding of their needs and producing designs that meet and exceed their expectations. 

     

    • Work on complex, high-level projects that involve multiple stakeholders and deliverables with adherence to strict deadlines
    • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
    • Studies, analyzes and updates company websites and databases as necessary
    • Researches the needs and habits of a company’s target consumer base.
    • Distributes online surveys requesting feedback from site users.
    • Analyzes survey results to better determine the faults and required adjustments to site design.
    • Identifies any problems or difficulties with user interface.
    • Advises on the best methods of improving site navigation and ease of use.
    • Troubleshoots glitches and problems with website design.
    • Tracks user activity following site designs and redesigns.
    • Writes up reports of design progress and results.
    • Researches new developments in the field of UX design.
    • Conceptualize and implement designs that meet company needs all the way through from idea to completion
    • Ensure that all materials produced comply with the company's brand guidelines

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Web Design, Software Development, or a related field
    • Proven UI/UXexperience
    • Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio
    • Creative Writing a must
    • Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
    • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
    • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
    • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
    • Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing

    • High Energy Levels. Should be self-driven.
    • Strong analytical, organizational and coordination skills.
    • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment with varying priorities, based on a team building culture.
