    The Sr Cloud Developer - Applications will help build out and design infrastructure which will require experience with micro-service technology such as Docker, and messaging skillset such as RabbitMQ. This position will help build a continuous integration infrastructure platform. The ideal candidate will also work to migrate legacy applications to the cloud and will work with the project scrum teams to provide infrastructure leadership during the project.


    Performs duties and responsibilities commensurate with assigned functional area within a department(s) which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:

    • Work to develop/build plans for Cloud, Distributed & Web technical solutions

    • Partner with agile development and application teams to influence application modernization and migration of legacy applications to cloud platforms

    • Collaborate with architects, engineering, client managers, project managers, applications and infrastructure teams to plan and coordinate changes

    • Build and manage the first set of IaaS/PaaS implementation

    • Software Defined Data Center

      • Automation, Orchestration, CI/CD experience

      • Certification in cloud technologies a plus

      • OpenStack experience a must

      • Experience in clustering and HA solutions at both infrastructure and application levels

      • Experience in leveraging auto-scaling and recovery of systems deployed in AWS or Azure

      • Experience working with Cloud Storage solutions in AWS or Azure

      • Expertise building and monitoring software projects in an Agile workplace with Jenkins, Hudson, Cruise Control or other similar tools

      • DevOps Hands-on experience in PaaS, SaaS, CI/CD Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, CM Configuration Management, Docker, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Cloud PCF/AWS, Ansible, Kubernetes

      • Understanding of cloud application design principles such as 12 factor apps

      • Broad knowledge in systems monitoring, alerting and analytics

    • Network Engineering

      • Strong technical acumen and experience leading the development of complex solutions in the areas of local-area networks (LANs), wide-area networks (WANs), wireless network, Voice over IP, firewalls, routers, network IPS/IDS, and network virtualization

      • In-depth experience in software defined networking and network functionality virtualization technologies and implementation

      • Integration experience in both network infrastructure design and alternatives in relation to the network architecture and virtual environments

      • In-depth expertise in network monitoring/configuration/management solutions, network micro-segmentation, network security, network traffic and payload analysis

      • Solid understanding of DNS solutions, Active Directory, and other LDAPs solution

    • Cloud Migration

      • Implement cloud migration strategies and requirements identifying impediments and developing mitigation plans

      • Experience migrating large scale virtualized environments to AWS/AZURE cloud


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

    • Experience performing Cloud Based applications development

    • At least 5 years of experience in enterprise level IT projects Cloud based technologies (PaaS, IaaS, and Cloud Infrastructure Services)

    • Experience with building dynamic infrastructure within AWS or Azure

    • Experience with issues facing large scale server environments

    • Strong interpersonal and team building skills

    • Attention to detail, quick learner, have a positive attitude, ability to multi-task, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment

    • Must possess excellent critical thinking skills, reading and interpretation, writing, and communication skills
