    We are looking for an AWS Cloud Architect with experience in both cloud native software development and cloud infrastructure with at 3-5 years’ experience working in an AWS or Azure cloud environments. The candidate should have a strong background in API’s, complex integration development architecting n-tier applications, and extensive experience in large scale cloud data platforms. Need to have strong communication skills who can lead both technical and non-technical discussions.

    • Support the business development lifecycle (Business Development, Capture, Solution Architect, Pricing and Proposal Development)
    • Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of all AWS infrastructure and services within a managed service environment.
    • Recommend process and quality improvements through task automation, infrastructure as code, security automation and automation of routine maintenance tasks.
    • Oversee the design, deployment and maintenance of enterprise security, network and systems management applications within an AWS environment.
    • Oversee the design and implementation of availability, scalability, and performance plans for the AWS managed service environment.
    • Continually re-evaluate existing technology stack and infrastructure to maintain optimal performance, availability and security.
    • Work with various teams and stakeholders to develop architectural roadmaps for large scale data analytics and intelligence platforms.



    • 10+ years’ experience developing/deploying large scale enterprise solutions
    • AWS, Azure solutions architect experience: 3-5 years
    • Knowledge of data migration/warehousing practices and technologies
    • Extensive experience with AWS offerings (AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, S3, VPC, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of Amazon Kinesis, AWS Lambda, Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon Simple Workflow Service (Amazon SWF), Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS), and Redshift.
    • Strong knowledge of AWS SDK and development experience with one of the programming languages – Java, .Net
    • Experience with automation/configuration management, Infrastructure as code products such as Terraform, Chef, Ansible or similar.
    • Strong knowledge with Web Services, API Gateways and application integration development and design
    • Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
    • Knowledge of containerization and microservice architectures is a plus
    • Knowledge of agile software development practices and release management
    • Thorough understanding of Cloud Computing: virtualization technologies, Infrastructure as a Service, Platform as a Service and Software as a Service Cloud delivery models and the current competitive landscape.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff
    • Understanding and experience implementing various government infrastructure and applications compliance requirements.



    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate) – Required
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional) – Preferred
    • AWS Certified Security (Specialty) – Preferred
