    The candidate will work within NewWave’s Division of Corporate Compliance (DCC) Quality Management Office (QMO) to support the project and functional area staff within an ISO 9001, Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC) maturity level (ML) 4, and CMMI for Development (CMMI-DEV) ML 3 organization. The candidate will conduct performance indicator and internal CMMI audits, as well as support the teams in advancing to ML4. The candidate must be a creative, highly motivated individual, who is able to work with multiple teams both independently or as part of the QMO team.

    • Support the QMO Manager in the maintenance of the Quality Management System
    • Conduct process and product internal audits in support of ISO 9001 and CMMI for development and services practices 
    • Support the QMO Manager and projects in the advance to CMMI ML4
    • Support the maintenance of core documented processes and procedures
    • Work with all Organizational units to promote quality achievement and performance improvement in support of NewWave’s quality objectives 
    • Provide training quality plans, processes, procedures, and templates.
    • Document, monitor, and report statuses of corrective and preventive actions 
    • Support Operating units with quality issues and improvements 
    • Participate in reviews, walkthroughs, assessments, formal quality audits, and inspections
    • Identify impediments to quality and project execution; recommend corrective action items
    • Promote/support process improvement initiatives


    • CMMI for Development and Services to include ML3 and ML4 SCAMPIs A, B, and C
    • Understand how to apply quality standards to software and services
    • Familiarity with tools, concepts, and methodologies of quality management 
    • Understanding of Agile Software Development/Engineering environments 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
    • Excellent analytical abilities 
    • Ability to effectively multi-task


    • PMP preferred
    • Experience with LEAN / Six Sigma, and/or PMI methodologies a plus 
    • ISO 9001
    • ASQ Certification


    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Microsoft Project
    • Microsoft Visio
    • SharePoint
