Responsibilities

NewWave is currently looking for a Project Coordinator who will support our Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) customer for the Business Operations Support Center (BOSC) program. The job responsibilities for this position will include but are not limited to:

 

        •  Provide overall program support to the BOSC project teams.
        • Coordinate and schedule meetings with staff and customer.
        • Prepare drafts and final meeting agendas and minutes to include distributing all meeting materials.
        • Provide quality assurance reviews for all project deliverables.
        • Maintain and promote a positive and professional relationship with colleagues and the customer.        
        • Prepare project Dashboards, Status Reports and other project deliverables.
        • Coordinate and collaborate with other functional areas, as required.
        • Collaborate with all task areas to develop and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Project Management Plans.
        • Collaborate with internal and external teams to obtain project status, resolve issues, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
        • Maintain and update the following:
        • Risk Register
        • Organizational Chart and Contact List/Roster
        • Project Schedules
        • SharePoint repository
        • Support ad-hoc assignments as needed/requested.
        • Support all other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Project Management/Administration experience to include Healthcare/CMS experience, reporting, financial management, meeting admin, call or contact center operations, etc.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and work with cross functional teams including senior management level.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate accomplishments, risks or issues to program leads for each line of business and work closely to monitor and resolve them.
  • Experience in data management in multiple databases.
  • Experience with service delivery environment such as helpdesk and/or providing support as a BA or Project Coordinator on a systems project.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills.
  • Escalate issues where appropriate to program leadership and works to resolve them.
  • Skilled in Agile and Waterfall methodology
  • Experience with Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and ISO certification standards.
  • Experience with 508 compliance skills.

 

Technical Skills

  • Must be highly proficient with SharePoint and Microsoft office suites (Word Power Point, Excel, Visio Access database, Adobe editor/PDF creation software etc.
  • Experience with 508 compliance skills.

Residency Requirement

  • Must have lived in the United States at least 3 out of the last  5 years.
